Superbe 5 Jun 2008 9:35am Isao from nord-isère, FranceTiens-tiens, un nouveau copain d'escargots ;-) 5 Jun 2008 11:37am @Isao: Je te promets que j’avais prévu cette photo avant de lire ta réponse à un de mes commentaires ici. paulski from Muncie, IN, United Statesreminds me of that steve martin movie, "the jerk," where steve martin orders the escargot for his wife in the fancy french restaurant. when the plate arrives, he averts her eyes and frantically calls the waiter over. "waiter, there are snails on her plate! take this away. and bring me some fesh wine! none of this old stuff!" (disclosure: i haven't seen this movie for 28 years, so i reconstruct loosely, at best). beautiful image; superbly done! and again, good to have you back... 5 Jun 2008 11:47am @paulski: your movie abstract is very funny but I can not be 100% against Steve Martin as I don't go very much for snails ;o) MadScientist from Düsseldorf, GermanyA very nice one! Very graphic effect, great DOF! 5 Jun 2008 1:42pm yiannis krikis from thessaloniki, Greecethe best macro shot for thiw week - excellent work 5 Jun 2008 3:49pm Henry from Boston, United StatesI love how the soft emerald green in the background just makes the snails shells and color SNAP! Very nice photograph! 5 Jun 2008 3:50pm Julie McLeod from Ottawa, CanadaAbsolutely incredible detail. Just an excellent macro shot... 5 Jun 2008 3:58pm @Julie McLeod: thanks for the compliment. Calusarus from St Sorlin en Valloire, FranceUne excellente photo. My best friend from high school is in Paris right now studying abroad for photography! this is a great shot! i like the way the snail is in focus and colors are great! 5 Jun 2008 5:03pm @jennifer: well, I wish I could, like your friend ,study for photography. The more I shot, and the more I have to admit that I don't know anything about photography. Vraiment tres photogenique ces escargots... 6 Jun 2008 12:43am Nicholas from Shah Alam, MalaysiaFantastic close-up!
