Chalet Pédro- Logibar (9h +670m/-1290m)
La matinée est superbe, Après les Chalets d’Irati, je m’élève et la vue dégagé me ferait presque croire que je suis en montagne. Je suis très enthousiaste mais je sous estime la deuxième partie de la journée sous prétexte qu’il y ai très peu de dénivelées. Cependant il me reste encore cinq heures de marche et je n’ai pas vraiment réalisé que même si la marche est facile les longues heures finissent par fatiguer.
Il commence à faire très chaud et il n’y a pas vraiment d’ombre sur ces crêtes. La descente sur Logibar est un cauchemar. Elle se fait par un sentier défoncé et quand j’arrive mes pieds me font à nouveau terriblement souffrir. Cette fois ci je n’ai pas d’ampoules mais la douleur vient de l’intérieur de mes pieds et irradie. De plus je me suis fait une une tendinite sous un pied.

The first part of the day is terrific. Especially after the “Chalets d’Irati” where I fell for the first time being on a mountain rather than hills as for now. I’m very pleased but I under-estimate the second part of the day because there were not much to climb. Still it was supposed to be five hours walk and I did not realised that even when easy walk, long hours are tiring.
It started to become very hot with no shade to prevent me from the sun. The way down to Logibar is a nightmare. When I arrive my feet are once again so painful. This time I have no blisters but both of my feet irradiate and I have a tendinitis under one of my feet.

J'aime beaucoup ce paysage, avec la profondeur "laiteuse" !
(ps : et bein dis donc les pieds trinquent, il faut les mériter les chouets point de vue ! )

Même si "ce n'est pas le pied", tu arrives tout de même à faire de la belle photo !

Dur dur, quand même cette traversée, c'est un peu un calvaire... même si les vues méritent le détour, il faut sacrement se motiver pour pas baisser les bras... Le point de vue ici est beau et dégagé malgré la brume de chaleur, mais la lumière est dure (pleine journée sans doute). Un peu trop de ciel à mon avis....

@Evelyne Dubos: je suis entièrement d'accord avec toi sur le format, d'ailleurs je m'étais dit que je posterai une version panoramique, mais faute de temps je ne l'ai pas fait.
Sur le coté galère, c'est vrai que le démarage est laborieux mais à ce moment je reste motivé. Ce n'est que le début et je ne doute pas que mes pieds me laisseront tranquille. Surtout, j'attends la vraie montagne avec impatience.

beautiful image; the fence-post makes it for me (reminds me of that wallace stevens poem, "anecdote of a jar," the one about placing the jar on the hill in tennessee, and how the act of placing the jar "humanizes" the hill, changes it, renders it capable of human objectification, etc...

anyhow, the fence post (in your shot) takes an otherwise beautiful landscape and opens it up to a whole new level of interpretation. which i apprecaite...

@paulski: thanks for your nice comment. I did indeed wanted to show a landscape that I founded beautiful, but when I took this picture I tried to remenber one of the most commun rule: "the most important thing in a landscape is the foreground". I was lucky to find that fence post small enough to let us see the landscape but highly symbolic for me with the red and white mark that I will follow for hundreds of kilometers. With this, the landscapes seems less anonimous.

Excellent panorama, and including the post gives some scale to the image. My I is drawn to the white dot upper mid slightly left, any idea..... did you observe anything ?
