Enfin la montagne

Cabane d'Escuret de bas- Lescun (7h +700m/-1100)
Je me sens encore un peu fatigué ce matin mais cette fatigue est compensée par la joie de commencer véritablement la montagne. Je franchis mon premier col à presque 2000m d’altitude et soudain, je peux voir au loin le pic du Midi d’Ossau, qui a une grande valeur symbolique pour moi. Je sais en effet, qu’une fois atteint cette montagne, j’aurais presque fini mon premier topo guide. Pour la première fois depuis le départ, j’ai l’impression d’avancer et non plus de faire du sur place.

I fell still a bit tired today but it was overcome by the pleasure to enter real mountain. I almost reach the 2000m high and suddenly I can see far away the “pic du midi d’Ossau” witch has a high symbolic impact on me. Indeed I know that when I will reach this mountain I will almost have finished my first road book. In fact, today, for the first time I have the impression to go ahead instead of making time until now.
